The functions of TGI are the following:

1. Operation and maintenance of its own gas pipeline network.

2. Economic exploitation of the gas pipeline capacity of third party companies, paying a capability charge.

3. Planning and coordination of the resources of the gas transport system.

4. Administration and transport of fuel gas in the wholesale market.

5. Providing technical services in activities related to its corporate purpose.

6. Investments in shares or social contributions in other societies.

7. Subscribing and awarding contracts and all acts necessary for the proper development of its corporate purpose.

8. Building directly or through third parties, infrastructure and pipelines, gas receipt stations, acquire, operate, manage, maintain, delivery, compression, processing, supply, terminals and in general all those movable and immovable property that are required for compliance with the corporate purpose and disposing of them.

9. To negotiate, conclude and implement, subject to the laws in force, all legal transactions that are required to exploitation at home and abroad and in general to meet the corporate purpose of the company.
