Tariffs for transportation of natural gas are regulated by the CREG, which establishes the maximum charges allowed to charge for the use of different transport systems. Resolution CREG-125 December 2003 established the regulated charges for the TGI gas transport system. Types of Charges The Fixed Charges (US$ by SCFD - year) charged on the capacity ability contracted by each user (Client) and pays a share of the investment costs of the company. The variable charges (USD by MSCFD) charged on the actual volumes transported by each user (Client) and pay a share of the investment costs of the company The charges of OA & M (Colombian pesos per SCFD - year) charged on the capacity contracted with each user (Client) and pays the administration, operation and maintenance expenses incurred by the company for optimal gas delivery and transmission service. Under tariff Resolution CREG-125 of 2003, 90% of investment costs and the costs of OA & M are remunerated by distance and 10% are remunerated through stamp (independent of the distance).
